Influenza Vaccination Coverage During Pregnancy — Selected Sites, United States, 2005–06 Through 2013–14 Influenza Vaccine Seasons

妊娠中のインフルエンザ予防接種率 ― アメリカの選択区域、2005-06期～2013-14期のインフルエンザワクチン

インフルエンザに関連した合併症はリスクを上昇させることから、季節性インフルエンザワクチン接種はすべての妊婦に対して推奨されており、妊婦に対する予防接種は、生後数ヵ月間、新生児を保護する。今回、2005-06年～2013-14年のインフルエンザワクチンシーズン(8月1日～翌年7月31日)、計9期における妊婦のインフルエンザ予防接種率をBirth Defects Study(ニューヨーク、ボストン、ペフィラデルフィア、サンディエゴ周辺地域)のサーベイランスデータより分析した。その結果、2005-06年期～2008-09年期における予防接種率は17～20％であり、2009-10年期は季節性インフルエンザワクチンの接種率が33％、pH1N1ワクチン接種率が35％と大きく増加した。その後の接種率は2010-11年期が31％、2011-12年期が27％、2012-13年期が35％、2013-14年期が41％であった。全体で79％のインフルエンザワクチンが妊婦に産科医、プライマリケア医のオフィスまたは妊産婦診療所にて接種されていた。妊娠中のカウンセリングおよびワクチン接種に関する教育は、すべての妊婦に対してルーチン的に行われるべきであり、ワクチン接種により妊婦および新生児のインフルエンザ関連疾患および死亡を抑制しうると考えられる。
