Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices(ACIP)は2022年10月の会議で、2023年のアメリカにおける18歳以下の小児および思春期齢に対して推奨される予防接種スケジュールを承認した。2023年の小児および思春期齢の予防接種スケジュールはCDCのウェブサイト(https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/schedules)で閲覧でき、2022年の予防接種スケジュールからの表紙、表、注記、別表に関するいくつかの変更点も含むACIPの推奨がまとめられている。医療提供者が患者集団に対して推奨する予防接種を決定するために、表、注記、別表も一緒に使用することが勧められる。この予防接種スケジュールはACIPにより推奨され(https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/acip)、CDC(https://www.cdc.gov)、アメリカ小児科学会(https://www.aap.org)、アメリカ家庭医学会(https://www.aafp.org)、アメリカ産婦人科学会(http://www.acog.org)、アメリカ看護師助産師協会(https://www.midwife.org)、American Academy of Physician Associates(https://www.aapa.org)、National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners(https://www.napnap.org)により承認されている。18歳以下の小児および思春期齢に対する2023年の予防接種スケジュールのワクチン変更には、インフルエンザワクチン、肺炎球菌結合型ワクチン、麻疹おたふくかぜ風疹混合ワクチン、COVID-19ワクチンに対する新規または更新されたACIP推奨が含まれ(https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/hcp/acip-recs/vacc-specific/covid-19.html)、表と注記のセクションに追加されている。変更には、デング熱ワクチン、A型肝炎ワクチン、B型肝炎ワクチン、ヒトパピローマウイルスワクチン、血清群ACWY髄膜炎菌ワクチン、血清群B髄膜炎菌ワクチン、不活化ポリオワクチン、水痘ワクチンに関する推奨の明確化も含まれている。
