HIV検査サービスの状況について、CDCはNational HIV Prevention Program Monitoring and Evaluation (NHM&E)の2014年データをイベントレベルにて分析した。NHM&EシステムはCDCが財政支援する60の保健省と151の地域ベース組織を対象としており、2014年は計3,049,845件のテストイベントデータがUnited States、プエルトリコ、U.S.バージン諸島から収集された。ヒスパニック/ラテン系人は全体で22.6％(687,777件)を占め、年齢別では30～39歳が25.3％、40～49歳が25.8％、性別では男性が21.7％、女性が23.5％、トランスジェンダーは31.4％を占めていた。また、HIVと診断された症例は12,472例であり、うちヒスパニック系/ラテン系人は2,906例(23.3％)であり、30～39歳では27.4％、40～49歳では26.8％、トランスジェンダーでは23.6％であった。ヒスパニック系/ラテン系人が受けたHIV検査687,777件のうち、250,200件(36.4％)は20～29歳、また、女性は50.7％(348,593件)、地域別では南部が42.2％(290,223件)を占め、男性同性愛者(MSM)は19.8％であった。HIV検査の陽性率は全体で0.4％であり、MSMでは2.0％、静注ドラッグ使用者では0.5％であった。また、HIVと診断された症例のうち71.0％の症例が医療的ケアを受け(61.1％は診断から90日以内)、60.0％の症例がHIVパートナーサービス、64.0％の症例がリスク低下サービスを受けていた。
