感染緩和対策実施後のCOVID-19罹患率の傾向 ― アリゾナ州、2020年1月22日～8月7日

新型コロナウイルス感染症(COVID-19)の原因ウイルスであるSARS-CoV-2の感染緩和にはヒトからヒトへの感染予防のため、個人、地域、州による公衆衛生活動が必要である。マスクの着用、ソーシャルディスタンス、大きな集会の回数や規模の縮小、ソーシャルディスタンスの維持が難しいビジネスの一時的な休止、在宅勤務や自宅待機、職場や教育施設での確実なコントロールなど市中での感染緩和対策はCOVID-19の拡大を遅らせるために役立つ可能性がある。Arizona Department of Health Servicesの推奨ではSARS-CoV-2の感染緩和のため、患者の人口統計学、地域へのるSARS-CoV-2拡散状況、病院への影響の継続モニタリングの情報を提供している。アリゾナ州における緩和政策の効果を評価するため、2020年1月22日～8月7日、1日のCOVID-19症例数、7日間の移動平均調査を行った。アリゾナ州では3月11日に緊急事態宣言を発し、15日に学級閉鎖、19日には居住型高齢者施設への訪問を制限、3月30日～5月15日まで外出禁止令を発令した。4月1日～5月15日における1日症例数の7日間移動平均は154から443であった。4月29日～5月11日、アリゾナ州では小売店、美容院および理髪店の営業を段階的に再開し、レストランでの店内食事を開始、5月15日に外出禁止令を終了した。その後、1日症例数は6月1日の808例から15日には2,026例へ151％増加し、ビジネス、地域、個人による予防対策の強化が必要となった。州当局による最新ガイダンスでは地方自治によるマスク政策の実施(6月17日)、公衆衛生上で必要な地域で調整した対策の実施を許可した。州は公的イベントを50名未満に制限し、バー、ジム、映画館、ウォーターパーク/チュービング施設を閉鎖し(6月29日)、レストラン屋内での食事は定員の50％未満で客同士の距離を6フィート以上離すこととした(7月9日)。1日症例数の7日間移動平均は6月29日～7月2日にピークとなり(4,148～4,377名)、7月3日～2日は変動なく(3,609～4,160名)、その後、7月13日(3,506名)から8月7日(867名)に75％減少した。これらの感染緩和対策は8月まで延期された。
