Influenza Vaccination Coverage Among Health Care Personnel — United States, 2017–18 Influenza Season

医療従事者のインフルエンザワクチン接種率 ― アメリカ、2017-18インフルエンザシーズン

2018年3月27日～4月17日、CDCはインターネットパネル調査により2017-18年インフルエンザシーズンの医療従事者におけるインフルエンザワクチン接種率を推定した。Medscape(WebMed Health Professional Networkによる医療ウエブサイト)と一般向けのインターネットパネルであるSurvey Sampling International(SSI)により2,382名が参加し、2,310名(97.0％)が完答、最終的な分析対象者は2,265名であった。2017-18年インフルエンザシーズンにワクチンを接種されたと報告した医療従事者は78.4％であり、2010-11年シーズンからは15パーセントポイント上昇したが、直前の4シーズン(75.2％～78.6％)とは同等であった。勤務する施設別の接種率は前年シーズンと同様、病院がもっとも高く(91.9％)、外来診療施設(75.1％)、他の臨床施設(74.9％)、長期療養施設(67.4％)の順であり、接種率はいずれも前年期と同等であった。職種別の接種率は医師(96.1％)、薬剤師(92.2％)、看護師(90.5％)、ナースプラクティショナー/医師助手(87.8％)にて高く、その他の臨床関係者(80.9％)、看護助手/補助員(71.1％)、非臨床関係者(72.8％)では低かった。また、医療関係者に接種を要求する施設は全体の44.1％(病院：68.3％、外来診療施設：39.2％、長期療養施設：29.6％、他の臨床施設：37.9％)であり、接種を要求する施設に勤務する医療従事者の接種率は94.8％と高かった。Advisory Committee on Immunization Practicesではすべての医療従事者に対し、年1回のインフルエンザワクチン接種を推奨しており、勤務する施設による介入戦略の重要性が示唆された。
