Influenza Vaccination Performance Measurement Among Acute Care Hospital-Based Health Care Personnel — United States, 2013–14 Influenza Season

救急病院ベースの医療従事者におけるインフルエンザワクチン接種の実行 ― アメリカ、2013～2014年インフルエンザシーズン

毎年のインフルエンザワクチン接種は全ての医療従事者(HCP)に対して推奨されている。Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Servicesは2011年8月、Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting Programに参加する救急病院に対し、2013年1月1日以降、HCPのインフルエンザワクチン接種に関するデータをNational Healthcare Safety Networkに報告することを決定した。今回、2013年10月1日～2014年3月31日に50州とワシントンDCにある4,254の救急病院から報告された接種のデータを収集し、現場での責任や患者へ接する度合いに応じ、1)職員(施設が直接雇用する人)、2)免許を持つ実務者(LIP：医師、高度実践看護師、医師助手など)、3)成人学生/実習生およびボランティア(医学生、看護学生、インターン、研修医、18歳以上のボランティアなど)の3つのグループに分け、州毎に分析した。全体での接種率は81.8％(ニュージャージー州：62.4％～メリーランド州：96.4％)であり、職員：86.1％(ハワイ州：69.0％～ユタ州：97.6％)、LIP：61.9％(フロリダ州：33.8％～メリーランド州：93.6％)、成人学生/実習生およびボランティア：79.9％(ニュージャージー州：50.3％～ロードアイランド州：96.3％)であった。接種率が90％以上あったのは、全体では13州、職員の接種率は17州、LIPは2州、成人学生/実習生およびボランティアは11州で、ワシントンD.Cとメリーランド州のみが全てのグループにて接種率90％以上であった。
