Tobacco Use Among Youths — Argentina, 2007 and 2012

若者における喫煙 ― アルゼンチン、2007年と2012年

アルゼンチンの若者(13～15歳)における喫煙の動向について確かめるため、CDCとアルゼンチン保健省はGlobal Youth Tobacco Surveyの2007年と2012年のデータを分析した。その結果、アルゼンチンの若者において紙巻きタバコの現喫煙率は、常用者(過去30日以内に毎日喫煙)が、2007年：24.5％から2012年：19.6％ (男性：21.1％から17.4％、女性：27.3％から21.5％)、頻繁に喫煙する者(30日以内に20日以上喫煙)が、5.6％から4.1％(男性：4.9％から3.1％、女性：6.0％から5.0％)、喫煙歴あり(30日以内に1回以上喫煙)が、52.0％から41.9％(男性：48.9％から40.5％、女性：54.8％から43.3％)に低下した。その他の有煙タバコの喫煙率は2007年：6.7％から2012年：6.5％、無煙タバコは4.3％から3.7％、全体での喫煙率は28.0％から24.1％へと低下した。公共の場での受動喫煙(SHS)率は2007年：54.7％から2012年：47.5％に低下していた。アルゼンチンの若者における喫煙は減少傾向にはあるが、2012年の時点で13歳から15歳の約5分の1が喫煙し、また、約半数がSHSを受けていることから、禁煙およびSHSからの保護に関し、法整備も含めた対策の推進が急務である。
