Recreational Water–Associated Disease Outbreaks — United States, 2009–2010

レクリエーション用水に関連する疾患のアウトブレイク ― アメリカ、2009～2010年

プール、風呂、温泉などの処理水、湖、海などの非処理水によるレクリエーション用水に関連する疾患のアウトブレイクは、感染性病原菌や化学物質への曝露により発生する。2009～2010年、National Outbreak Reporting Systemを通じてCDCのWaterborne Disease and Outbreak Surveillance Systemに報告されたアウトブレイクは28州およびプエルトリコにて81件(1,326例、うち少なくとも62例が入院)であり、1978年以降、発生数は有意に増加している。81件のアウトブレイクのうち、処理水によるアウトブレイクは57件(70％)、症例数:1,030例(78％)以上、入院:40例(65％)であり、アウトブレイクあたりの症例数は7(2～280)例であった。発生時期は7月、8月が多く(25件、44％)、23件(92％)は急性胃腸疾患であり、21件(84％)はCryptosporidiumによるものであった。なお、病因が確定したアウトブレイクは49件(60％)であり、うち27件(55％)がクリプトスポリジウムによるものであった。発生場所はホテル(19件、33％)、ウォーターパーク(14件、25％)などであり、ホテルでのアウトブレイク発生は2、3、4月が多く(11件、58％)、また、病原菌は緑膿菌が9件(47％)であった。非処理水によるアウトブレイクは24件(30％)、症例数:296例(22％)以上、入院:22例(35％)であり、アウトブレイクあたりの症例数は5.5(2～69)例であった。23件(96％)は淡水によるものであり、発生時期は6、7、8月にて多く(20件、83％)、11件はシアノバクテリア毒素によるものであった。これらのアウトブレイクによる死亡例は認められていない。
