最新情報:中東呼吸器症候群コロナウイルス(MERS-CoV)に対する勧告

2013年6月11日、CDCはアメリカの病院にMERS-CoV感染症、または感染の疑いで入院している患者に対し、感染症の予防およびコントロールに関する暫定的な勧告を発表した。現在のところアメリカ国内ではMERS-CoV感染例は報告されていないが、世界では8ヵ国にて報告されている。最近の報告では医療従事者への感染が認められており、感染例の迅速な検出とウイルスの感染拡大を阻止するための予防措置の必要性が示されている。アメリカでは来月、MERS-CoV感染例のケアを日常のルーチンワークの一部とする準備段階として、CDCはMERS-CoV感染の治療や処置に関するチェックリストを作成した(http://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/mers/preparedness)。また、MERSに関するウェブサイトでは最新の情報およびガイドライン等を掲載している。
