Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices(ACIP)によるエビデンスに基づいた勧告の作成のための新たなフレームワーク(GRADE)

Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices(ACIP)は、Director of CDCおよびSecretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Servicesに対し米国住民におけるワクチン予防可能疾患の制御のためのワクチンや関連薬剤に関する専門的なアドバイスを行う連邦諮問委員会である。この報告は、ACIPが2010年10月の会合で採用したエビデンスに基づく勧告を作成するための新たなフレームワークであるGrading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation(GRADE)の概要を述べたものである。勧告は2種類のカテゴリーに分け、カテゴリーAはある年齢群の全ての人々、あるいはワクチン予防可能疾患のハイリスクグループに対する予防接種に関する勧告、カテゴリーBはあるグループの全てのメンバーに適応するわけではない予防接種に関する勧告(特定の患者に対する接種の適切性の決定に有用な医師向けガイドライン)とする。ACIPはGRADEフレームワークを使用し、ワクチンの健康への影響や健康上の有益性とリスクのバランス、医療経済などに関するエビデンスのタイプや質を系統的に評価する予定である。GRADEを使用した標準的で明確なACIP勧告の作成により、透明性や一貫性が高まると考えられる。
