Adult Vaccination Coverage － United States, 2010　

米国成人における推奨定期接種ワクチンの接種率は、Healthy People 2020の目標よりも低い。2011年10月、Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices(ACIP)は2012年の成人用予防接種スケジュールを承認した。成人(19歳以上)における肺炎球菌ワクチン・A型肝炎ワクチン・B型肝炎ワクチン・帯状疱疹ワクチン・ヒトパピローマウイルス(HPV)ワクチン・破傷風抗原含有ワクチン(破傷風+ジフテリア+無細胞性百日咳ワクチン[Tdap]を含む)の接種率を評価するため、CDCはNational Health Interview Survey(NHIS)の2010年のデータを分析した。各ワクチンの接種率は、年齢・人種/民族・接種対象条件(疾患、旅行先など)別に評価した。2009年NHISの調査結果と比較して接種率が有意(p＜0.05)に上昇したワクチンは、19～64歳群のTdap(2010年接種率：8.2%、上昇率：1.6%)、60歳以上群の帯状疱疹ワクチン(14.4%、上昇率：4.4%)、19～26歳の女性のHPVワクチン＝1回接種(20.7%、上昇率：3.6%)のみであった。帯状疱疹ワクチンについては、特にラテンアメリカ系白人(16.6%、上昇率5.3%)と非ラテンアメリカ系アジア人(12.7%、上昇率5.8%)の上昇率が高かった。他のワクチンの接種率は前年から変化がみられず、いずれも70%未満であった。2010年10月には糖尿病患者にB型肝炎ワクチン、21歳以下あるいは22～26歳でHPV感染リスクの高い男性にHPVワクチンの接種が新たに推奨されたが、2010年の糖尿病患者におけるB型肝炎ワクチン接種率は19～59歳群で22.8%、60歳以上群で10.9%であり、19～26歳の男性におけるHPVワクチンの≧1回接種率は0.6%であった。成人におけるワクチン予防可能疾患の発症率を低下させるためには、ワクチンの接種率を大幅に上昇させる必要がある。
