インフルエンザ活性－アメリカおよび世界、2010年6月13日～9月25日

2010 年6月13日～9月25日、アメリカにおけるインフルエンザ活性は低かった。南半球では夏の季節性インフルエンザ活性の典型的なパターンを示し、熱帯地方でもインフルエンザ活性が認められた。この期間中、WHOおよびNNREVSS研究室において分析された呼吸器検体は25,833検体、うち326検体 (1.3%)がインフルエンザ陽性を示した(A型:261、B型:65)。血清型の分析はA型185検体にて行われ、130検体がH3、55検体が 2009インフルエンザA(H1N1)であった。陽性検体は南東部(アラバマ、フロリダ、ジョージア、ケンタッキー、ミシシッピ、ノースカロライナ、サウスカロライナ、テネシー州にて多く(40%)、西部(アリゾナ、カリフォルニア、ハワイ、ネバダ州):14%、中西部(イリノイ、インディアナ、ミズーリ、ミネソタ、オハイオ、ウイスコンシン州):10%であった。インフルエンザ様疾患(ILI)による外来受診率は0.7～1%と全国基準値(2.3%) を下回り、肺炎およびインフルエンザによる死亡率も流行閾値を下回った。世界的にはインフルエンザA(H1N1)、A(H3N2)およびインフルエンザB 活性が報告され、アジアではA(H3):44%、2009 A(H1N1):32%、B:13%、南アメリカではA(H1N1):32%、B:32%、北アメリカではA(H3):69%、オセアニアでは A(H1N1):63%、ヨーロッパではB:59%、A(H1N1):19%と地域による相違が認められた。抗原性の分析では2009 A(H1N1)の99%が2010-11北半球ワクチンの成分であるA/California/7/2009に、A(H3)の96%がA/Perth /16/2009に、Bの88%がB/Brisbane/60/2008に類似していた。また、この期間、鳥インフルエンザA(H5N1)のヒトでの感染はエジプトとインドネシアで計6例報告され、5例が死亡し、2003年12月以降の症例数はアジアとアフリカの15ヶ国にて計505例(うち300例が死亡)となっている。
