National, State, and Urban Area Vaccination Coverage Among Children Aged 19-35 Months - United States, 2004

全国、州および都市部地域における生後19～35ヶ月の小児ワクチン接種率－アメリカ、2004年

アメリカ50州および都市部28地域における生後19-35ヶ月の小児のワクチン接種率を調査しているNational Immunization Survey(NIS)の2004年の調査結果を報告する。2004年には生後19-35ヶ月の小児21,998名のワクチン接種記録が得られた。調査回答率は、対象世帯全体の67.4%であった。2004年の全国的なワクチン接種率としては、より最近接種されるようになった水痘ワクチン(VAR)の1回以上接種率(87.5%)と肺炎球菌複合ワクチン(PCV)の3回以上(73.2%)・4回以上(43.4%)接種率が前年よりも増加した。他の全てのワクチン(ジフテリア・破傷風・百日咳ワクチン［DTP/DT/DTaP］、ポリオワクチン、b型インフルエンザ菌［Hib］ワクチン、麻疹・ムンプス・風疹ワクチン、B型肝炎ワクチン)の接種率は2003年と2004年とでほとんど差がみられなかった。また全国的に4:3:1(DTP/DT/DTaPを4回以上、ポリオワクチンを3回以上、麻疹混合ワクチンを1回以上)、4:3:1:3:3(4:3:1+Hibワクチンを3回以上、B型肝炎ワクチンを3回以上)、4:3:1:3:3:1(4:3:1:3:3+水痘ワクチン1回以上)の各ワクチンシリーズの接種率も増加した(それぞれ83.5%、80.9%、76.0%)。前年同様、州別ワクチン接種率にはかなりの差がみられた。4:3:1:3:3シリーズ接種率はマサチューセッツ州(89.1%)が最高でネバダ州(68.4%)が最低、地域別ではテネシー州Davidson郡(89.7%)が最高でテキサス州El Paso郡(64.8%)が最低であった。4:3:1:3:3ワクチンシリーズの全国的接種率(80.9%)は、今回初めて「Healthy People 2010」の目標(小児のワクチン接種率80%以上)を達成した。
