The medical, pharmaceutical, and healthcare information provided by the International Medical Information Center (IMIC) constitutes a highly critical information asset. It is our significant responsibility to appropriately handle, manage, and protect this information. To establish and operate a more reliable information security framework across our entire organization, we have built and implemented an Information Security Management System (ISMS) that fully complies with the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 27001.
After initially acquiring ISMS certification for a specific portion of our services (*1) in July 2022, we have continuously improved our system through annual surveillance and renewal audits. During our 2026 audit, we expanded the scope of our registration to encompass the entire foundation (all operations and departments). This expansion serves as objective proof of our comprehensive framework for ensuring information security.
*(1) Scope of initial certification: Provision of web services for the document information (on medical, pharmaceutical, and healthcare) (applies to operations and organizational units related to IMIC Document Information System "I-dis").
We will continuously strive to maintain and enhance our information security standards so that our clients can use our services with confidence.
