Alcohol Use and Binge Drinking Among Women of Childbearing Age - United States, 2006-2010

妊娠中の飲酒は先天性異常や発達障害の主要かつ予防可能な原因であり、またアルコール曝露妊娠は胎児性アルコールスペクトラム障害を誘発する可能性がある。Healthy People 2020は、妊婦における飲酒および大量飲酒の自制を目標のひとつとしている。18~44歳の女性における過去30日間の飲酒および大量飲酒の頻度を推定するため、CDCは2006~2010年のBehavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System(BRFSS)のデータを分析した。自己申告データによると、過去30日間の飲酒率は非妊婦(331,196名)が約51.5%、妊婦(13,880名)が7.6%であり、大量飲酒率(1回に4ドリンク以上)はそれぞれ15.0%、1.4%であった。妊婦における年齢別の飲酒率は35~44歳(14.3%)が最も高く、18~24歳(4.5%)と比べた場合の調整オッズ比は3.3であった。妊婦におけるその他のサブグループ別飲酒率は、非ラテンアメリカ系白人(8.3%)、大学卒業レベル(10.0%)、被雇用者(9.6%)が最高であった。大量飲酒者における大量飲酒エピソードの頻度と飲酒量は妊婦と非妊婦で同等であり、大量飲酒の頻度は月平均3回、飲酒量は1回平均6ドリンクであった。出産可能年齢の女性におけるアルコール曝露妊娠のリスクを低下させるため、診療現場での女性に対する妊娠中の飲酒によるリスクについてのアドバイスやコミュニティーレベルでの介入が必要である。
