Interim Results: Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent and Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Coverage Among Health-Care Personnel － United States, August 2009-January 2010

1986 年以降、Healthcare Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee(HICPAC)とAdvisory Committee on Immunization Practices(ACIP)は、全ての医療関係者(HCP)にインフルエンザワクチンを年1回接種するよう勧告している。しかしNational Health Interview Surveyのデータによると、1989年以降にHCPのインフルエンザワクチン接種率が49%を超えたシーズンはない。2009年8月、ACIPは HCPを2009年インフルエンザA(H1N1)1価ワクチンの優先接種対象者とした。この報告は、2010年1月に実施したインフルエンザワクチン接種に関するインターネットによる母集団ベースパネル調査に参加したHCP1,417名の回答結果をまとめたものである。2010年1月中旬までの推定ワクチン接種率は、2009年パンデミックインフルエンザA(H1N1)ワクチンが37.1%、季節性インフルエンザワクチンが61.9%であった。全体として 64.3%が2種類のワクチンのどちらかを接種しており、この接種率は過去最高であったが、両ワクチンの接種者は34.7%のみであった。2009年 H1N1ワクチンの接種率は、雇用主がその接種を仕事上必要、あるいは推奨している施設のHCPが、雇用主がワクチン接種を仕事上必要とせず推奨もしていない施設のHCPに比べて、それぞれ約8倍、4倍高かった。HCPのインフルエンザワクチン接種は患者の安全対策として重要であるため、医療施設管理者は今後のシーズンのHCPにおける予防接種率を増加させるために努力する必要がある。
