Vaccination Coverage Levels Among Alaska Native Children Aged 19-35 Months - National Immunization Survey, United States, 2000-2001

生後19－35ヶ月のアラスカ原住民小児におけるワクチン接種レベル－全国予防接種調査,アメリカ,2000～2001年

2000年のアラスカ原住民(AN)人口は118,846人であり、これはアラスカ州人口の19%、全米人口の0.4%にあたる。2000－2001年の生後19－35ヶ月のAN小児を対象とした全国予防接種調査(NIS)データについて報告する。全国およびアラスカ州におけるAN小児では、ジフテリア・破傷風・百日咳(DTP)ワクチン(≧3回)、ポリオウイルスワクチン(≧3回)、麻疹・おたふくかぜ・風疹混合ワクチン(≧1回)、インフルエンザb型ワクチン(≧3回)、B型肝炎ワクチン(≧3回)の接種率が90%以上という2010年国民健康目標を達成した。水痘ワクチン接種率は低かった。AN小児の家庭は非AN小児の家庭よりも貧困レベルが低く、4人以上の子供がいる割合が多かった。またAN小児の母親は非AN小児の母親に比し高校未満の学歴の者が多く、未婚率も高かった。AN小児は公営施設でワクチン接種を受けることが多かった。AN小児における2010年健康目標の達成は、ワクチン接種率を向上させるために実施した多くの戦略(財政・地理上障害の緩和、ワクチン接種の優先化、共同努力、追跡とリコール、評価、登録など)の有効性を示す。同様の努力は、アメリカンインディアン(AI)/AN集団が居住する他の地域におけるワクチン接種率を向上させる可能性がある。
