Influenza and Pneumococcal Vaccination Levels Among Persons Aged 65 Years - United States, 2001

65歳以上におけるインフルエンザおよび肺炎予防接種率－アメリカ，2001年

1993年以降、1年おきに国内50州およびDC、US領土(グアム、プエルトリコ、バージン諸島)において18歳以上を対象に、インフルエンザおよび肺炎予防接種に関する無作為電話調査(BRFSS)が実施されている。2001年における回答率は中央値51.1%(33.3－81.5%)、うち65歳以上は39,910名であり、過去1年以内のインフルエンザワクチン接種率は64.9%[最低36.8%(プエルトリコ)、最高79.0%(ハワイ州)]、54地域中34地域で接種率が60%を上回った。1999年は66.9%であり、低下率は中央値0.9%(-9.6－6.5%)であった。肺炎予防接種率は1999年54.1%から60.0%[最低24.1%(プエルトリコ)、最高70.9%(オレゴン州)]へ増加し、32地域で60%を上回った。また、予防接種の内訳は肺炎予防接種のみ10.5%、インフルエンザのみ15.4%、両方受けた49.3%、どちらも受けていない24.7%、人種/民族別では非スパニッシュ系白人(インフルエンザ67.1%、肺炎63.5%)に比べ、非スパニッシュ系黒人(インフルエンザ48.1%、肺炎39.4%)、スパニッシュ(インフルエンザ55.2%、肺炎41.6%)にて低値であった。年齢別では75歳以上、性別ではインフルエンザは男性、肺炎は女性での接種率が高く、喘息あるいは糖尿病症例における接種率が高値を示した。また、学歴が高いほど接種率は高く、非喫煙者に比べ喫煙者での接種率が高かった。
